Open An Access Database In Read-Only

When we want to set some permissions or to make a Microsoft Access File Read-Only we may need to open it in read-only mode or create it and need to open it in read only mode. This enables other users or us to just see the tables or the data that is there in the


Steps to Open an Access Database File Read Only: 

1) Click on File Menu and click Open 




2) It will open a dialog box, beside open there will be a small drop down arrow, click on that and click on Open Read-Only 


This is possible in 2003 Word, Power Point and Excel as well.
